Photographer’s Note

Flying in a small Cessna 200 m above Rio Negro about 60km north west from Manaus. The water of Rio Negro seems from the 200 m to be really black reflecting the blue sky above.

The landscape looks gorgeous, from 200 m altitude. Your picture is very sharp and the color of the water incredibly dark. Great shot. You might have cropped a little from the top, which is a little convoluted and distracts the eye, imho.

I really like the trees in the water on the bottom of the picture. The colors are good too.
