Photographer’s Note
We were on the Sliema Seafront Ferries (near Tigne), when a fisherman waving towards us caught our attention. The fisherman was returning to shore after a day of traditional fishing in his traditional boat called in Maltese a "Luzzu".
The Luzzu
---------
The luzzu is colourful fishing boat featuring an eye in the front as a symbol of survival. It is a tradtion inherited from the Phoenicians. The Phoenicians were the first people to settle in the Maltese Islands, circa in the 800 BC. The Phoenicians left a good impact on our story and where the first real settlers of the island.

Hi Darren,
Your shot could have been more interresting if you had crop the upper part.
You should avoid anything that isn't usefull for your photo.
Personnaly, i would have taken the photo with the boat a little more on the right so that the path he followed fullfill the screen...
TFS.
