Photographer’s Note
An autumnday on the island Römö part of the danish marshlands. This is about 1500 meters off shore on foot. The tide is soon to turn and more water will come in. We better turn around and go back to dry land although we enjoy this magic light and scenery.
I have used a degree of solarization to experience the same dramatic feeling I felt on the place.

I have to be honest Erling, the photo really catch our eyes, but then somethings odd about it... did you worked it out? with such a sky how can the man be so bright? especially the head and shouders...
Strange... beautifull but strange

There is a mystique feeling in the picture. But not sure about the base on which the man is standing... is it water or is it cloud?

Your picture looks like the end of the earth (which I didn't know was in Denmark, by the way ;-).
I really like it, the light, the composition, the mystique, the strangeness, everthing. Very well done.
