A streetlight and me Photo

Photographer’s Note

I crossed the bridge today.
Tama River was very clear.
I often photograph the streetlight on a bridge.
It is because I like a round form like a grapefruit or a Japanese bell.
I photographed the shadow of the streetlight for the first time today.
Although this is not the work which should be featured, it is a commemoration work about my new trial.

This is a good shot. Nice textures, and a very good, simple composition. My only suggestion is that I would crop off the top, where it is brighter, as that draws my eyes away from the scene too much. Still, very nice.

The texture and lighting on the water, combined with the shadow's lack of detail give a look of an Impressionist painting. I could look at this all day, but unfortunately I have to go back to work :(

This is a "maybe I should try that" image for me. Very strong picture - the shadows were cooperating with you that day.
