Photographer’s Note
Eston Nab is a high point of the Eston Hills, overlooking the industrial area of Teesside. It rises to just under 800ft above sea level (according to my GPS), and the site has been recognised for it's view for centuries, being the site of a hill fort in the past.
Currently, even modern technology recognises it's prominent position, as it's now the home to a set of communications masts.
It makes a nice evening walk, although a steep climb at first, it's worth it for the tremendous views you get across Teesside.
This photo was taken in early evening looking down the Nab. You can see the edge of the conurbation of Eston in the top left of the photo, and the small village of Lazenby in the top right. With the industrial area of Teesside creeping into the top of the photo.

A nice shot from an area I know well Mark, driving round that roundabout 5 days a week. The greens have come out well on this photo and so have the details on the rocks.

u have managed to get some good greens and it was a lot clearer for you than the day i went up there with eza1701.
It may of worked better if you had not included a the industry that is only partly visible as it is slightly distracting, but then again, it does make a good contrast between the heath land and industry.
