Photographer’s Note
This was taken when I rode on the toy train from Shimla to Kalka. Its a bad scan but the only one I have. I don't normally take lots of shots of the one subject, but this was near the end of my trip and I had plenty of film left so I must have taken about 15 shots of this boy looking out of the train. He was shy but didn't seem to mind me taking the photos once I'd asked him. The train journey is amazing, it goes through literally over 100 tunnels and goes from a town in the foothills of the Himalayas, down into the plains.
