Looking westward across the Intracoastal Waterway on a chilly February evening, with jet stream clouds arrayed across the sun after a frontal passage. The dark haze is smoke from burning sugarcane fields about 50 miles west.
Spot-metered just to the left of the sun. 1/400 @ f6.2, ISO 200, 42.7 mm, contrast high and sharpness hard in camera. Cropped for vertical composition from horizontal original.
