Misty Mountains Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was taken in the Parc de la Jacques-Cartier once again. It was a very special ambiance that day, what can I say, very inspiring. When we started fishing there, it was around 2p.m., and bright sunny. Then we saw the mist starting to cover the river and about 30 minutes later, the place looked like mystery. Then, we were lucky enough to have a rain storm. It was the day of all weather! But what a day, let me tell you! Please, let me know what you think! I didn't use Photoshop at all on this one.

Beautiful symmetry of the montains given by the reflection on the water surface.
The mist gives a special mystic atmosphere... very nice.

Beautiful reflection of mists and sky. Perhaps a little overexposed in the sky, but a dramatic photo nevertheless.

As you say very mysterious, would make a good backdrop for a mystery movie set. Looks very much like the area I live too with the mountains coming right down to the water. I love the mirrored reflections in the water and the mist you've captured beautifully. Well done.

J'ai eu un choc en voyant cette photo, je croyais que c'était la mienne au parc des Hautes Gorges hautes gorges mais à l'envers...
Comment résister à prendre en photo un tel paysage n'est-ce pas

Isabelle, It might have been a terrible day weatherwise, but it gave you a nice picture.
The reflection of the mountains in the water is fantastic.

Tres bien reussis! Je me souviens de mon passage labas l'annee passee! Avec les moustiques en plus! =) Tu as bien capté le moment. L'ambience est tres forte... Peut-etre la renvoyer avec une meilleur resolution (200k!)

C'est superbe ! Une parfaite symétrique, une atmosphère mysterieuse se dégage aussi de ce cliché. Les reflections sur ces eux lisses sont magnifiques,félicitations !

Somehow I missed this one. You really have a good eye. This composition is beautiful, when things are just right we don't need photoshop.

Ouais pas mal ressemblante à la miennne ;-) très bien réussie. Curieusement on a même le nombre de points identique pour nos deux photos. J'ai l'impression qu'elles ont été prises exactement au même endroit!

j'aime beaucoup les différentes nuances de tons dan cette photo, les forment des montagnes qui s'estompent progressivement dans la brume donnent une bonne profondeur a l'image.
