[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Cows are said to spend their time watching the trains from their field, and it looked like this man spends his time watching the tourists go by on the walkway near the Seine. I saw the paving stones of the walkway and thought this could make for some nice graphic effect...

I hope you'll like it...

PS : I tried a workshop, just for fun

Daniel.

A beautiful photo. the man alone in the vastness of the coble stones. His shadow is lovely. I alos like the bits of grass coming through the stones.
Great composition and leaving so much space compliments your note. Noce framing.

Bonjour Clement!
very nicely composed in the simple ambience. even a B&W version could have looked good, because you already have the man's shadow on the ground to work with. good use of empty space to emphasize the loneliness.
merci'
Arnab.

Good framing and composition...
Figured ground and alone man compatibled
(sorry, I don't know English well) :))

Well done
Cheers Guliz

Jolie composition, tres graphique.
Amicalement, hugues

Hi Clement,

I like this one too. This top view I didn't use untill now for persons.
Good picture. maybe you should try a bit more contrast/darker.

Thanks,

Hendrik

Philippe

Hi Clement,
the simplicity its, in most of times, hard to get and that's why I like this photo, because it's a very simple subject but a great composition.
Congratulations
Paula

very intense pic, and i like your note too.
the not-centered subject is a very good choice... all is in suspension: man and time. good job!

Hi Clement,
nice composition. Well done.
Nice POV.
I like the graphic aspect.
His head looks funny from this angle. Like a monk's cap.
Nino

A bientot
Vincent
