Vila Prudente

Vila Prudente is a district located at Sao Paulo's East region. The district born when the italian Falchi brothers built a chocolate factory, disactivated in 1950. Today is an B class residencial district, but there is some A class building being build.

Vila Independencia, Vila Zelina, Vila Lucia, Vila Alois, Jardim Avelino, Parque Sevilha, Parque Vila Prudente, Vila Hadad, Vila Alpina and Quinta da Paineira are the subdistricts of Vila Prudente.

This shot was taken from the top of a building at Quinta da Paineira, actually the one where I live, and the buildings at right are at Vila Alpina. The last crematory at service in Sao Paulo, the 'Crematorio da Vila Alpina' is located at Vila Alpina.

I took this shot almost one month after I moved to Vila Prudente...
