I like the electrical lines in this one, Granted, they're usually just in the way of the shot you want, but on this one, well.... electricity in the air, electrical lines. Kind of fits.

Great picture of lighting. Too bad for the electric lines. I really like the purple overcast to it too.

EDIT: Basically did a hack job with the clone tool in PS and tried to get rid of the lines....basically the first time I've tried this, but I think it turned out alright. What Cliff said was very true, the picture does fit with the two.

Two forms of electricity here. The colors are stunning and the sharpness too. The little details of the rays are quite amazing. Fantasic first shot of lightning, I have yet to accomplish this.

Wow ... what a great shot ... love how the lightning shapes around the hydro wires!!! An 8 second shutter speed ... that's interesting ... is that the trick to shooting lightning??

Stunning lighting shot. It is really a shame about the electrical lines, but in general we can not choose the place to take this kind of shot. Anyway, very well done wit a beautifull purple sky.

Bonjour Jean,

Une jolie photo d'eclair avec un ciel bien coloré. Bien joué ! Je ne me suis jamais essayé aux éclairs, mais je suppose que ca ne doit pas être évident !

J'aime bien les cables, un clin d'oeil a cette électricité aérienne et aux premières expériences. Mais attention aux accidents !
