Photographer’s Note

Taken from a boat along the Jamuna river. As per my earlier comments, life really does revolve around the river in Bangldesh. Here a child is playing in water in the hot afternoon. The nearby town's population entailed both indian bengali and tribal bengali, all living and working side by side.

It was strange to see so much activity around the rivers of Bangldesh. People use the water to wash, drink, cook, fish and work.

i love the frozen action. The water drops in the sky showing that it is a moment snapped from a fast action. Maybe a little less water and more above the boats.

Bravo pour l'instantané,
Le lumiere est belle. On voit les gouttes d'eau avec à l'arrière plan des bateaux trés caractéristiques.

You are so well-travelled and you record your shots in a documentray kind of way. Here the sheer action and joy of the kid makes for another good candid shot.

Hi Arif, lovely spontaneous picture of having a lot of fun. I like his shiny skin very much and his hands up in the air.
The boats in the background give the boy a nice context.
I think I wouldn't have minded if there was fewer wtare below the boy, and a ibt more background
