This was taken on the basketball courts at west 4th street and 6th avenue. it really is the most amazing place. i could stand there and watch people for hours.

the dof is wonderful. It looks great in b/w but it is the man's fingers in the fence that are the best, to me. nicely done.

Interesting image. I looked at it, went away and came back to it. It has that disquieting quality that is hard to pin down. Do I like it? I keep thinking that maybe the sharp focus on the fence (and the fingers) was misguided. Then again I wonder whether sharper focus on the man's face will do anything at all. How about on the tip of his foot? I am not sure. At last I grudgingly accept that your intuition was probably the best for the composition.
You were quite close to the subject to shoot this with a 28mm; you have the nerve.
