River of lights Photo

Photographer’s Note

Quetta city is surrounded by mountains from all sides. It is coldest city of Pakistan. I take this picture from about 1100 feet high.

Impressive exposition and subject, marvellous pic...maybe a little bit of contrast or saturation would take away this disturbing diffused light.

This is quite beautiful, I like the uninhabited rocks rising out of the lit city, and the sky is marvelleous even without the moon. The size of the moon seem enormous compared to everything else, I hope it's real, adding to favourites anyway.

A bright/lit graphic impression of a city. Surreal in expression with the moon, on a graduated blue sky, hidden just under a cloud. You must have had enjoy this sight Latif. Anyone who get to this altitude to shoot this must have known what he is after. And how to get it.

This is another good shot of the city Mohammad. I can tell in contrast to your other shot from the same night that you spent quite awhile on the hill, as the amount of light shows this shot to be much earlier and the moon in a different place in the sky. Good of you to be so patient to get two good, but different shots!

Really majestic - not my image of Pakistan at all.. It would be interesting to know what post processing you did? Did you place the moon into the photo - it is very large? I see it was an 8 second exposure.. any ver nice

A most beautiful photo here! The light is well captured, and I like the lights going up the hill in the middle the most. The range of blue shades in the sky is impressive, as is the full moon peeking out of the cloud.Well done.

A perfect moment chosen for this evening shot. The city's lights are on everywhere even if it's not quite dark yet. The clouds add interesting mood here. The moon is huge and of course it's a huge credit for your photo.
