The Basilica of Volubilis
The ruins of Volubilis are the most important archaeological place of Morocco.
Them are placed in a great fertile plain.
This is the Basilica of Volubilis, one of the best preserved and known construction of these ancient place.
The Romans conquered the city on year 45 a.C. This Basilica was constructed in the year 217 a.C. in times of the Macrino Emperor, and it was dedicated to Jupiter, Juno and Minerva.
If you go to visit Meknes, you have to go to Volubilis, it is located only at less than 35 min. by car.
As a [ Workshop ] I have post the other side of this magnific Basilica.

...it will tell you a great story about this place !!
And as History doesn't speak, thanks Jaume for replacing with a great photo of that place.
Perfect light, I like how we can see all the details, even in the shadowed place. A nice colours, but the picture seems a bit damaged by the resizing for TE (I'm thinking about the top of the hills, especially).
Well done Jaume for all those pictures about Morocco, I really enjoy each of them !
Cheers,
Youssef.

Hi Jaume, congrats on such a beautiful shot. I really like how we can see inside the beautiful stone arches and inspect them. Your good POV in turn gives good depth and also aids the composition immensely. Very nice one Jaume!

Hi Jaume - wonderful views from these ruins, I like the repetitions here, and the overall view in the WS (the WS is good enough to be separately posted on its own), very nice focus & clarity. I visited this place 9 years ago, but not this year.

Hello Jaume. This is a very well composed shot of the ruins, with good colour and contrast. I like how one can see the distant town in the distance. Very well seen and portrayed. Best regards.

Hi Jaume, I like this kind of pictures with a historical theme. A nice perspective which allows the viewer to see the basilica both from the short and long side. The setting is very beautiful with all those distant green hills. The light is good and the colours are very nice. Well done!

Tienes algo?
saludos,
Behrang

Hola Jaume !
Thanks for your reminding message.Basilica of Volubilis is indeed an interesting place to visit.
Both photos are nice, but I prefer the second. The first evokes the power and glory of the empire.
"A different POV" ! with a wider view, is more emotional and poetic.
The background showing the mountain and green hills is magnificent. The picture contains a big variety of green colors which I like very much.
Bravo ! Best regards

It's a little overexposed but I like the contrast between the building and the nature background.

Hola Jaume,
Buen encuadre.
Un saludo
