La Serra is a little hamlet of Lerici, posted on the hills behind the village on the road for Montemarcello.
The houses are builded in very little spaces and road and alleys are very steep: this is a nice example. At the beginnins is present a signal (not visible in the photo) warning that because of the steepness and narrowness of the alley, if you drive in, any successive maneuver will be impossible!

Bentornato!

ciao.

Ciao Giorgio,
Nice and deep upwards perspective in this nice village, personally I'll go on the stairs in the shade... you might want to increase saturation a little bit.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Im falling in love with the Italian countryside looking at your photos. Such wonderful colors and beautoful architecture. I can imagine life in this place would be like a quiet dream.

You are a mester of composition. Not to mention that I personaly like mediteranian places very much.

Wonderful corner of this beautiful village. Great perspective and nice lighting. The eye follows the road to the end. Very nice work!

Hi Giorgio! I very much like this perspective of the winding lane with the corresponding walkway on one side and the wall on the other. The shadows enhance and all is crisp and clear with pleasing colours. Well seen and captured. Regards.

Hi Giorgio
very intersting perspective. It's well done and the light is beautifull.
thanks to share with us this old and rural italy, so beautifull.
regards
Bertrand

Marvelous view of this typical italian via and construction.
It reminds me my italian grandfather that came to brazil in the beginning of the 20th century.
Ciao

Celso

This has a movement and feel to it that is so relaxing for me. The empty street seems so calm and the light so warm. But it's the movement that you have from this excellently chosen point of view that really enhances this shot. It's a nice play of left and right as you move into the scene. The wall on the right, then the gate then the other wall and then the house alternate perfectly with the roads path. I like the perspective, too, and how it disappears around the corner at the end to suggest continuing on and on. Very nicely seen Giorgio.
