Photographer’s Note
I am going to come back to Canada again for today's photo. I took this photo in Parc de la Jecques Cartier near Quebec City (my favourite city in Canada).
The path was laden with the fallen leaves as it was the end of the summers and the winter was just around the corner. It is quite a feeling to tread on a path like this. I hope you can feel what I felt when I walked on this path.
The smudged up white spot in the top left quarter of the photo is actually a leaf that was falling.
Thanks for having a look at this photo

Excellent composition. I think you should photoshop the falling leaf smudge. It is an honest part of the picture but is distracting.

Your favorite city in Quebec? I agree but, I have to admit, I have a strong local bias.
Fall is the season of all beauties. It's unfortunate that, at this moment, photography can't carry odours, since a walk in the woods, at the end of October, is a visual as well as an olfactive experience.

Hi, Sarju, You have captured a quiet scene in the colorful environment. I believe that the blur shadow on the upper left hand side is a falling autumn leaf. The road in the center lead us to someplace unknown A beautiful golden fall picture.

I dream of a shot like this - Excellant !!!
You might want to do a B&W Shot of the same path during the winter that would be a challenge !!!

Hi Sarju,
When I come to your pictures, i guess i dream up...:) because, i remember very well having seen this picture and having rated it (at least i thgt so..!). And now I come back and see a wonderful picture without my expert opinion!..:))
A nice colourful compo you have here sarju. A very nice find. I would be wary of walking on that though...snakes you know..
If i regret anything about this picture, it is only that the falling leaf could have been sharp.

Sarju! i'm dreaming about taking a picture like this for centuries ehehe and now it's here, it's done and it's beautiful.
And i really like the falling leave, i would have prefer it sharper but it's wonderfull.
Have you seen the leave in the compo or just after at home?
Thanks

Wonderful symmetry here, Sarju. I love the sense of being drawn straight into the shot. I should talk to you about Quebec C., I think I'm going there this summer.

Bonjour Sarju.
Très bel allée avec des couleurs en abondance, baignée par une superbe lumière.
J'aime ce chemin sans fin qui nous invite à l'arpenter,peut-être ensemble?
Beautiful path with an aboundance of colors, well lighted.I like this never ending path which invites us for a walk, maybe together.

I have to admit that Estern Canada has alot of beauty in the fall. The only suggestion on this photo would be to tilt a little to the right, and underexpose about one stop to bring out more color in the scene. But I tell you...this pathway captured like this is very rare.

Hi Sarju,
Nice centered enquadrement for this beautiful path in the Park. Good colors and contrast. Graphism and many textures.
Very well seen and framed!
Congratulations.

I love this view and the colors, Sarju! The path makes such a nice leading line into the the photo. I'm tempted to simpy clone out the falling leaf, though. Nice one!

Serwus Sarju !
As my nick is kebek I should get to know some corners of The Quebec City, as I have never been to Canada :)
Only joking, it is simple coincidence with this name.
What we got here is superb autumn scenery which I love so much. Fall is always so reflexive and melancholy.
Good perspective and very nice natural colours.
All the best,
Mat

Increible perspectiva del bosque. Las hojas por el suelo te envuelven en un clima muy tranquilizador. Canada un excelente pais con una gran variedad de colores.
Gracias por compartirla.

Hallo Sarju
Very nice colors, the leafs are like a carpet, we feel somehow (nice) by looking your photo. The problem is that that feeling we have, can't be the same like yours cause the only sence we use is our vision but we all wish we could feel like you did.
you 're lucky about that leaf, it gave motion to your photo, or you waited until it happened.. :)

I could hear myself walking here Sarju. A good photo evokes imaginatively the same feeling or emotion, which the photographer felt at the scene, in reality.

This is a lovely autumn shot sarju! Symmetry is good and colours are overwhelming. It is rather curious with the yellow leaves on the sides - are those small maples?
Great job!

Hi Sarju - I'm late to see this, but the autumnal atmosphere is spectacular, I wish you left the falling leaf alone though.

Very colorful sceneary. I like the long path in the middle of the frame going narrower in the deep. Good capture of this natural shot. The dried leaves on the path are looking great. I would also more happy with some more sharpness of entire shot.
Thanks for sharing.

Olá Sarju, I decided to look for another photo of your gallery, to wish you a more personal happy birthday. I looked for the post of last year in this same day, but I already had made a critic, so I came for the one two years ago, but you weren't on TE ;-) I visited almost every photos of the Hymalaias, so I ended up on this one. It's a very pleasant Autumn shot with a strong perspective. The mood is perfect and again, what is missing is Ana on a bike, seen from the back...or may on foot would be more apropriate here. It reminds me a park where we were in Vancouver so many years ago: we rented bikes and we felt like 15years old children speeding through narrow paths in the forest...
Anyway, this is kind of symbolic: the path of your life is right in front of you and you just have to follow it...just some poetic bullshit :)))
Enjoy the 31th anniversary and remember: the important thing is to have fun and enjoy life.
All the best,
Ricardo
