Sleepless night Photo

Photographer’s Note

No, this was not a sleepless night, but looking out of my window around midnight before going to bed that evening I really didn't want to go to sleep. I could have watched the moon all night long...

The blue is in fact natural...in summer the nights in Norway never go dark, but turn into a long dusky period like this. This is as dark as it gets.

Hi Jan...nice midnight shot. Great perspective and colours. I like the path across the lake made by the moon. You could possibly crop out some of the sky even though it has a great colour to give your image a slight panorama look.

Very nice reflections on the water, and those snowy montains look quite spectacular in this light! However, I'm really not sure if I like this overly saturated blue in the photo...
In any case you did a pretty good job!
