Photographer’s Note
I've mentioned Houston's horrendous traffic before. The traffic difficulties are compounded by continual never-ending construction and road repair everywhere in the city. I passed this set of signs where they're building a bridge several times before I decided to take a picture. Usually it was too dark, but I was running a little late this morning, and the sun had come up enough that light was beginning to hit the bridge. You can't stop at that spot, so I held the shutter down and snapped several shots in Sports mode as I passed by.
So what do the signs say? They don't want you to go inside the construction area at all, not even on a bicycle or on foot, but there is still two-way traffic passing by the bridge on a little narrow straightaway. At least that's what I think they're saying.
For post-proc, I cropped the image down a little, isolated the faces of the four signs and lightened them some because they were still in shadow, adjusted the levels, and sharpened and resized the image before uploading.
