Thean Hou Temple is one of the largest Chinese temples in South-East Asia.It is located on top of Robson Hill off Jalan Syed Putra (Federal Highway). The temple has been endorsed by the Tourism Development Council as a tourist destination that
represents the Malaysian Chinese.
The prayer hall houses 3 altars, each with a scuplture of one deity or goddess. The altar pictured here is in the centre of the prayer hall and dedicated to Goddess Thean Hou (The Heavenly Mother). She was worshipped as a sea goddess by Southern Chinese fishermen.

What a very lovely colorful picture, the sharpness and clarity are wonderful, the woman with the black hair is a nice detail.

Hi Chai, This is a very well captured indoor shot. Although you have used the flash light, you have well made use of the other indoor lights as well. The atmosphere of the worship is well seen. There are many decorations in this scene. A nice contrast to show all of them. A well taken picture.

This is a ncie picture, Chai. The colour is lovely and it is very sharp. Do you think she is wishing for something, or just paying respect to Quan Yin?

Dear Chai, Very good capture of the colourful shrine, many are less well adorned than this beautiful one. Good message to go with it also. Excellent clarity. Murray.
