A Candid Engagement Picture Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hello all! I am trying to get into some wedding and portrait photography and wanted to post this to see what people thought. I took this picture at a local park. I liked it because it is not the traditional looking engagement picture. Of course I also got some traditional pictures also, but for some reason I liked this one. In my opinion the black and white with the vignetting and soft focus make the picture. Any suggestions?

Hi, Jason, I think this works quite well.. I am all for non-traditional, esp. when it comes to weddings (they all start looking like the same wedding). The only drawbacks from this photo are that lock of hair in the fellow's face and the line of the wall at the same level as his head.
