These men are harvesting sugar cane. The rainy season has just started. These guys were finishing their days work, and were enjoying eating some of the cane, and having their picture taken.

Herb, I like saturated colors, but most - the gesture of that man... This photo shows the life there. I like the composition with a tree on the right and the object (building?) on the left.

This is a good one Herb. Maybe a little dark in spots but I like the water element, the way it depicts life there and as Piotr said, the enthusiastic stance of the man on top against the darkening clouds. Well done!

I like this, Herb, the dark sky goes well with the sweaty, damp work that they do. The man's lively but dignified gesture is great, too.

Great one, Herb. Tropical sky, fresh green of the cane, and the gesture of the man. I also like the other people watching at you from the track and the reflection of the water down de photo. Great composition, maybe a little bit dark but it´s ok. Congratulations.

there is too much of contrast....needs reduction...saturation level too is on the higher side...the tree on the right side is abruptly cropped......
if i were to give a 'critique' this is it...

but i will not evaluate the picture on that note...i simply like it...coz certain picture needs certain treatment...and somehow this one fits in the way you did it!!!

I like the gesture of the man in this photo..it gives meaning of happiness and life..no matter what you do, as long as you enjoy it...And the saturation of the photo is just nice...
