Photographer’s Note
Here a photo catch with fallen the night of the rock of the Virgin in Biarritz.
Imposing rock that Napoleon decides to use as not anchoring of the dam of the port which it had the intention to create, this rock was connected at the time by a wood runway (currently by a metal footbridge due to Eiffel) and bored of a tunnel to make it possible to bring the blocks of stone intended for the construction of the dam.
This rock owes its current name with the statue of the virgin set up in her top.
The long exposure time (2 seconds) makes it possible to obtain this cottony result of the sea while the eclairages gives to the ecume an important whiteness.
Thanks in advance for your comments.
Yves
