[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Bow Lake, in the Candadian Rockies, Banff National Park. These mountain lakes in the Rocky Mountains are very beautiful, with quiet still water, untouched forests, and huge dramatic mountains surrounding them. Bow Lake is accessible by car, and in fact it is easily visible from the main road.

The photo was scanned from a Fuji Provia slide, and the only post processing was to reduce the contrast (darken the sky and lighten the foreground).

Great view.I like the composition and DOF.Great reflection sin the water.Good light,but I think this photo needs more sharp and saturation of colors.Great contrasts.I made one WS.Good job!

Like a mirror ... very nice ! The sky is maybe a little pale in a way ... nevertheless wonderful nature and a lovely picture.

Very well conducted scan - the image is just fantastic - great view and the reflections add to the whole image.

If this is typical Canadian landscape - this is beutiful country... mountains, lakes, forests.... lovely. Realy nice! Going to visit this country some day ... :)

this is stunning - the rocks in the lake make it really something special, and well captured with large dof. The elements all combine in a very attractive way.

Another nice landscape photo from you, the place looks beautiful and you got here an awesome reflection, I find good you decided to lighten the foreground as it is on the whole a bit dark (due to shooting time ?), Sofia's sharpening is the final touch.

I like those beautiful reflections on the water. A good croping, maybe a little too much half/half, but veru efficient. Nice colors too. Thanks for sharing !

What an awesome photo ... so calming ... I especially like the angle of the reflections and the movement towards the tree line on left side ... great shot ... I like your composition better than the "workshop" version which seems very grainy and cold.
