Alone in the desert, we really feel we are so very little part of the Earth...
In the meantime, walking in the desert provide you a so great feeling of freedom I never experience anywhere else. The sand is so smooth and everything so quiet that it is the better place in the world to relax and just appreciate the present.

This view was taken from the same place that my previous picture names "A sand mountain", which was just on the leftside of this.
I increased a bit the saturation compared to the previous picture, since I was told it was a bit lacking of colors.

A well composed photo - the rocks at the bottom provide scale, add texture and a give a feeling of intense heat.

Hello,
superbe, j'aime beaucoup.

A+
Daniel

Wow! You have saturated it perfectly. Sophia this is so cool, it's almost unreal. Your POV is awesome...I love the rocks in the foreground, I love the eroded cliffs and the ant like people. The DOF is excellent too.

Just brilliant

Hi Sophie,
Nice framing and colors.
Very nice picture.

Superb picture, Sophie. Your composition is excellent. Small people and stones in foreground make very strong feeling of wide space and perspective. Colours are fantastic too. Very nice! Well done!

Thanks,
Marek

What an utterly fascinating scene. The colors are so natural and complimentary here. This is such a simple, beautiful image. The inclusion of the miniscule people really give a sense of scale. Only a minor drawback is that it seems to be leaning to the right a bit.

Superbe vue, dommage pour le manque de détails dans les falaises à l'horizon.
En travaillant la photo avec PS CS il y a surement moyen de l'améliorer.

Hi Sophie - amazing desolate landscape, the little people add a good size perspective

This is really amazingly beautiful! I like the composition, with the foreground rocks and the huge rocks in the background, separated by the expanse of sand. What makes this really special is the people in middle, so tiny. Thanks for the note on processing also. Bravo!

Great composition here, I think that a small amount of sharpening would improve things, though perhaps a little less than was done in the workshop. Good job all around.

Bonjour Sophie.
J'aime bien ce cadrage et ces proportions.
Cette grande étendue de sable donne un bel effet et dans la profondeur ce ces énormes "blocs", très bien composé.
Les couleurs sont magnifiques.
Bien vu.

Hi Sophie
the best part of the photo that I liked: The relative size of humans as compared to the landscapes ... gives an idea about how small we are
cheers .... sarju

This is fantastic Sophie - wow! I like the inclusion of the foreground which tells us how big the space is that the group are walking across - a really strong composition - exellent.

:) Incredible resolution and sharpness..... I'm impresed......:)

Fantastic landscape and when we see the people, how huge it is, we are tiny details of the world:-))
Really nice shot, Sophie !

Wooow! Your photos from Libya are amazing! I was in Libya, very interesting country but we stayed only in cities-Tripolis and Surt...I would like to see Libya the way you saw it...take a look our photos from Libya
