Yes... the Tulips season is open ;) I've come across some photos of tulips lately, but this one cautght my eye.

Maybe becaouse the perfect colours and sharpeness, maybe because of the house.

A wonderful foreground also in a very nice picture, well composed, happy colours, I would do the same, Paul, nice low angle and very clear !

Wow.. very appealing ! Who can resist to these colors ?..
I'm a bit surprised by the architecture of the house, I would have bet the photo was taken rather in the East of France or in Germany. I did not know this style was also represented in Canada.

Paul this is not only a beautiful picture but also brings me very nice memories. I lived two years in Ottawa, long, long time ago, and I'm glad to see that they still keep celebrating the Tulip Festival. Bravo.

Finally I had to come by this capture as indeed it's one of your most remarkable shots, all the way sharp with the colorful tulips in front and this rustique house as target competing to each other.
Just an incredible curious shot, worthful for the unique POV, inspiring and the good natural colors even in the sky.

Hi Paul. This is a wonderful shot, with good POV. The colour and contrasts are good, and one can see every fine detail on the Tudor style home. A very well composed and executed shot. (My Dad always maintained that the truly best photographs were obtained by crouching or lying on the grass, looking up!) Regards. John

Paul - this image is quite remarkable - it has such a strange feel to it - it makes the house into something living - such an interesting perspective - great depth of field and colour composition - very nice indeed!

Je suis vraiment séduit par les couleurs de cette photo, les tulipes évidemment mais aussi le bleu du ciel et le verte des arbres.
Je dirais que les couleurs sont les vedettes de cette composition bien cadrée et réalisée.

Je n'avais pas remarqué avant, cette suparbe maison sortie d'un jardin de tulipes. A première vue j'ai cru que la photo aviait été prise en Hollande mais c'est vrai que Ottawa c'est la capital des tulipes au Canada.
