Photographer’s Note
Went to the horse race track for the first time the other day, while not as exciting as I was hoping for it was still fun.....for me...

I love this shot Peter! What a combination of character, and funny expressions....exactly what one would imagine in a bunch of compulsive gamblers! Great choice of angle and the color is great too.

dobre to zdjęcie, podoba się pomysł, no i ciesze się, że miałes fun;
(początkowo myślałem, że to dworzec autobusowy lub kolejowy i ławka dla bezdomnych)

Ha Ha. This is a great shot. I like the characters and the ceiling. I think both have something in common with what they're watching (and thinking). Very good and funny!
Thanks!

Interesting shot peter (never been there neither). You captured an interesting graphical element by filling 2/3 of the picture with the ceiling and it brings all the attention on the gamblers. Congradulations.

Great, Peter, watching a screen and eating. At least that's the way it seems to be, the woman, the man with a wrap in his hands, the man in green with his mouth full. Actually, the first thing I thought of, was a waiting place on the airport, and then I read your note. So I guess it's not a wrap, but a note.

oh, man...
great moment, really funny and depressing at the same time. the televisions in the back wall are a very nice element here, and of course the ceiling too.
not terribly bothered by it, just a little, but mostly curious why you cut off their feet?

Ha! great compositional choice here Peter. Love the play b/w the big ceiling and the guy looking up. Of course the light and the checkered design of the ceiling play a big part in how cool this is.
Well done,
alex

The problem is the shutter imho, but you cant do anything with this light condition probably unless you use flash.. or a very fast lens like 1.4..
(Why i am saying is because of the ppls comments Peter..The most obvious hint for them to have an idea about this place -imho-
was to see the left end monitor more clearly (so faster shutter i mean) ifaiu, i see the horses there but quite blurred..
Anyway for me this shot is very unusual and great.. I love the POV here..(lying or knelt)
seeing the feet is not a big deal either, expressions are the most important imo..
Whatever, i love this shot..
