Photographer’s Note

This spring scene takes us back to the Park of Schloß Anholt.I tried to use the cast iron fence as a frame.

I posted a second version as workshop.

I like this one Hermann but I can't help thinking that the image might be even stronger as a square format image -nicely observed though - very well spotted.

Hi Hermann. Good framing for this one indeed, the wrought-iron grid in the foreground was well utilized to embed this tree and the daffodils at its bottom. Good management of the DOF, nice reflections, and pretty colors. I like it.

goeie DOF en POV , heldere kleuren, net ietsje van de takken van je target, boom gesneden, niet storend omdat het geheel van je target goed overkomt.

Hi Hermann! This is a very judiciously used frame here and the DoF works very fine too. Surely helped by this framing this well rendered tree and its reflection steals the show. Well seen & captured.

The scene is familiar for me that you show it befor a part of it(yellow curved around the tree),very beautiful with a strong graphical work and excellent use of DOF with reaching a lot of details near and far.
