Photographer's Note
She is not sitting on a swing, but rather a long piece of rope. I love how people find pleasures in the simplest things.

Great one, Mark, and the fact that she´s not completely include in the frame gives the all photo a more dinamyc outcome. Her actitude is very natural the the unsharp background helps us to concentrate on her. Congratulations.

Bonjour Mark
La mise-au-point sélective isole parfaitement la petite fille de son environnement.
Cependant la partie verte dérange le regard; il aurait fallu cadrer plus serré vers cette charmante fille.
Merci de comparer avec mon workshop.
Hello Mark
The selective setting isolates perfectly the small girl from her environment.
However the green part disturbs the glance; it would have been necessary to tally tighter towards this charming girl. Thank you to compare with my workshop.

Oh a fine and brave cropping you made here - I líke the little wild look in her face and the POV - a fine job Mark - thanks for sharing.

I like the way you just let her and the rope cut the corner, a lot of space to swing back in. Short DOF is good here.

A very well composed photo with the girl virually exiting the frame, but her gaze looking back to the viewer. Nice :-D

A nice cute shot Mark. You did a good job with the DoF and with the shutter speed. Though I'd also be curious to see this with a longer shutter (as long as you can muster and still maintain good exposure) then blast her with flash at the height of her swing. af

A fine crop enhances a well captured moment. The DOF and light add to her lovely expression.

Hi Mark
Very well timed. Good shot with all that blurred green and black frame. Gr. Albrecht

What a wonderful shot, Mark. You got the moment spot on. The framing is just perfect and the eye contact is a bonus for sure. But what makes the shot for me, though, is the background: green and nice and simple. Colors are wonderful as well. Nothing to nit pick here...just amazing.

Very inspiring gallery mark. Always great to see one has not dug thru all the depth of TE's mindful photographers.
heyhey, after your comment in the "ethics discussion", I could not help to choose a "happy despite..." shot from your collection. And your note is exactly what I find exemplary in scenes of simplicity and fun in a drab environment, if not geographic, economic.
I think we will find some common ground easily, and I promise to try not to post shots with more than 27 vivid "beautiful" colors! ;-).
joking aside, I look forward to visit your gallery and see your upcoming shots. This is very good photographic work and it does have a purpose behind, IMO.

I love it :) Congragulation :)
The subject is sharp & the background is completley faded :) Great job if u consider she was moving soooo fast infront ur camera ... Placing her in the left part made it much more better :)
My favorite :)
Keep posting .

u pressed the button a little too late or the swing was faster than ur finger. :) nice capture of a girl immensely enjoying the swing.

You give us so nice pictures with your gallery ! I like this one, because of the uncentred shot giving lively movement... Nice Dof too. Cute little girl..; Fresh piece of life ! TFS

It is amazing how children in these places don't need much to keep themselves entertained! Good DOF, its sharp for the movement, and well framed.

Ciao Mark,
lovely shot. This girl seems to have fun, swinging back and forward on a rope. Beautifull colors and good position.

Very good mark. it's absolutely sharp and the fact that the child isn't completely in the picture makes it very attractive. well done.

Mark, I love how she swings out of the frame and looks back into it. Nice and sharp where it needs to be. Great curious expression. Good bokeh.
Great photo!
