Esse tipo de arquiterura é bem similar ao encontrado em Paraty no Rio de Janeiro, provavelmente está relacionado com o caminho do Ouro.
Um amigo meu postou uma foto de um prédio novo em Angra dos Reis, e ficou muito parecida com sua foto, depois de uma olhada: Colorful Houses
A sua composição me agrada, mas achei a foto com cores pouco nítidas!

I really like this picture, I leave justa few blocks up Rua Alvarenga from here, and walk thru this praca everyday... I've tried to take pictures of these houses, and its tough. You did a a great job, I will go out and try this nagle tomorrow, thanx for the inspiration! Obrigado!
