Very well captured image of tunnelbanan!! That's my train, you know!!! And it's very well done with being not too sharp. This way the movements of the train are more well pictured. Very nice job.

Must have been difficult to get the proper exposure with the large lamps facing you. Excellent constrasts. Sharpness is just OK. You kept the impression of a moving train.

Wonderful shot Stef. The metro stations in Stockholm are really great. As I remember there are also lines under the water between the islands. Very nice composition with fine shrpness and good manage of light. Very well done!

nice picture of this metro.
The exposure is good, not easy with the front lights !
I think it's a good thing that the metro is not very sharp, it gives movement !
The blue frame is a bit disturbing.

Good photograph with a very nice comosition. I like the way the Swedes treated the exposed rock ceiling, painting it with a pattern like fabric design. The place too looks very clean.

Hi Stef, I like the cave-style frame to this blue toned photo. The reflections on the floor provides some quiet feeling. I am just wondering that how did you managed to drive all other passengers away to take this photo. Well composed and nice contrast.

Le métropolitain parisien pourrait prendre exemple sur cette station.
Je trouve le décor très agréable et très harmonisé avec les voitures du métro.

This is a very creative subway station! The Lisbon subway is being remodeled and some stations are getting quite nice too. But contrary to Stockholm subway it’s almost totally underground except for a few parts in the new lines. Very good exposure control and captivating colors. The frame fits very well the image and it of the rare cases where I like a colored frame.

Toen ik zelf in Sthlm was, heb ik niet met de metro gereisd, dus ik heb dit niet gezien, maar ik zag vorige week een programma op tv hiet over Sthlm en toen vertelden ze dat een aantal stations beschilderd zijn. Mooie foto hier! Leuk dat zowel de metro als de schilderingen op de muren blauw zijn! :-D

Dag stef, hoe moeilik deze foto ook te maken is, u heeft zeker wel een schitterend samenstelling van gemaakt, de blauwe kleur beheerst hier duidelijk uw foto en zeker
met de toevoeging van het blauw kader. Ook de schilderij van bloem bladeren is prachtig.

Very nicely captured shot of the metro. I would have loved seeing a couple of people rushing in front of it, but I really like the cavernous feeling of it.

yeah, good 'frame' :) was that sculpted on the rock? I think you should put a little of 'movement' in the train since it was in movement, but it's ok. Regards!! Felipe.

Thanks Stef. At last a Dutch Dane finally show me some facts of the transportation I used daily in the mid 80's.

The pic is fantastic. The blue colors is great. But the most amazing thing is that you managed to take a shot with no people on the station

a nice frame you found in there with drawing on celing,and blue train is a geat element here that is your main subject.
well seen and a nice composition you managed,excellent details and sharpness with a fine contrast you reached.
about blue frame,I think could be use from dark blue tonalities,a vivid lively colors dosn't works well for many shots,still,my eyes see your great shot here:)

nice capture of this Tunnel-bana. i like the frame, that gives this round dark frame, like a tunnel ...
but IMO you should choose a lower speed, to get more dynamism . The train seems to be stopped.

Really great photo this, even from the thumbnail you can just tell that its going to be a good shot when you see the detail!

The only thing I'm not sure about is your frame, I see why you have made it blue, I think you have taken the colour from the train for the border, but I still think that the tunnel arch does a nice enough job of framing the train and the shot on its own. Still i really like this!

Hi Stef,

I came across your image on the home page and want to say how much I like it. The colours are first rate and you've managed the light very well. I like the way the subject is framed naturally by the arch and that the blue motive matches the train. As with all frames/borders they are very personal but I like this one, it sets off the image very well. Great capture, well seen and one for my favourites.
