Photographer’s Note

It is tulip time in Holland. Large fields with all kind of tulips. This day it was without sun which gave the spacial effect.
Within short time the head of the flowers will be cut off the let the bulb grow bigger.

A beautiful concept. I like the fact that you didn't crop out the distant, foggy houses. It really gives this picture a different aspect, unlike the norm.

Love how the lines bring the eye to the houses in the fog. Focus seemed to have been made on the middle of the field so the first rows of tulips are a little soft but still nice since it balances the foggy background.
Reminds me of the first shots Porteplume posted on TE when I first joined the site.

Contrastes !!
Entre les couleurs vives devant et ternes derrière.

The colours and the effect that the flowers give is really incredible and stands out!!
