After the rain, the weather fines up.
Photo taken on the line of the Tropic of Capricorne at latitude 23°30' south of the equator and 113° longitude east of Greenwich. I was driving between Perth and Broome.

Beautiful landscape with excellent depth and colors. You have not used a polarizer? Composition by the book, nice cloud pattern, could be a bit sharper.

Toni,
Nothing much on the land that would catch one's attention but it compensates with well spotted beautiful cloud formation.
Deep blue sky is in fine contrast with the desert colours and white clouds.
Nothing exciting but still very pleasant.

Tu fotos de cielos son fantásticas y esta sobresale. Ya en la foto pequeña atrae la atención. Los colores son extraordinarios y esa formación de nubes dan mucha profundidad y, yo diría, volumen a la foto. Precioso trabajo. Enhorabuena.

j'adore cette composition. Non seulement le sol est superbe, ocre jaune, mais c'est surtout la texture du ciel qui interpelle! on dirait du coton. Bravo c très bien rendu.

Beautiful sky and beautiful colors! Leaving the horizon at 1/3 was a good choice because there is not much on the ground to draw attention. But the clouds in this photo suffice as a subject alone!

In the foreground there are 2 small bushes at the right corner. Perhaps it would have been better to leave them out completely - because they are not important enough, the smaller bush is also too much at the edge I think. Now they rather obstruct the process of being drawn into the picture. This was really small remark. Overall, I think your photo is great.

Fabulous contrasts in this image, Toni. Not only are the clouds some of the most impressive I've seen on TE but also the contrast of the deep blue sky with the golden land is very appealing. Your picture gives a very good impression of just how vast this desrt is.

At first regard, the photo is uninteresting as there is no defined subject. However it represents the desolate desert with it's extraordinary colours and light. The clouds are stunning too.

En regardant ta gallerie, je suis tombé sur cette photo impressionnante. Le ciel est tout simplement superbe. Le paysage complétement dépouillé améne une profondeur surprenante. L'image est bien cadré et les nuages pris au grand angle forme un point de fuite.

sublime composition ! J'aime beaucoup ces nuages qui donnent encore une certaine lourdeur au payasage. Les couleurs chaudes du sol contrastent merveilleusement bien avec un ciel encore un peu sombre par endroits. Il y a aussi une bonne perspective dans cette photo. Bref, une fort belle réussite.

I love the vast openness of this image, augmented by the fact that i don't have a clear sense of scale of the area photographed. The bush in the lower-right foreground helps me to visualize the scale, but overall it's hard to tell the size of the area photographed. I think this works very well here.
