In Fez, in the leather tanners souks, we entered in one of the shops with aerial views towards the inside of the tannery. From the upper roof of the shop, we saw how the people do their work.
Here you can see one of the works that a man can do in the tannery of Fez, to dye the leather once it has been treated by the tanners.
In this case, these two dyers, are using the yellow colour of the saffron/safran, (a very expensive spice), to dye this leather.
