Hi Elizabeth. I like your decision to shoot this vertically because it gives an impressive DOF. The inclusion of the people brings this place to life and adds the always important scale to the landscape. The varied colors are fantastic as well. A beautiful shot with an informative note. I must admit that I had never really seen any landscape like this before .... well this is another reason for me to come over to Cali ... he he .... thanks for sharing this photo on TE and letting us know about this place

Fantastic shot !!! The colours are amazing. My favourite flowers. I think the two guys in the picture distract a bit the landscape.

Elizabeth, this is my favourite of your photos. I love the depth of field and that helps transform me from a dreary grey English day in the office to a sunny poppy field in CA. Well done! Garry
