Photographer’s Note
Getting an unusual photo of a heavily photographed icon can be difficult. I think I have managed to achieve that here with this shot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge taken from the top of the Centre Point Tower. The New South Wales and the Australian flag are both flying proudly atop one of our most recognised structures. I felt the gungy building and rusting antennas set up an interesting juxtaposition with the bridge.
This was shot with a Pentax ME Super, 135mm lens with a 2X teleconverter with Kodak 200iso print film. I like the perspective compression the long focal length (270mm with the converter) gave.
