very young camel trainer , he started riding camels at about 3 years old and at 5 or 6 they are real experts,it was amazing to see the obedience of a huge camel with a very small child who had him completely under control

Interesting story and nice portrait, but I have a problem with the seriously burnt out background ...

It's tough getting a good shot when your subject has strong back-lighting like this young man had. It would have been best to move him into better light or used a flash to fill in some light. As it is your background is very blown out and the whiteness overpowers the rest of the shot.

Is this what you got out of your camera or have you edited it in some way, perhaps brightened?

This guy has an interesting face and good pose. It's probably worth some time and effort to improve this shot. If this is the 'out of camera' shot one possibility is to work on the background to introduce some color.

If this is a brightened version of the 'out of camera' then try selective brightening of your subject.

As Bob says, if your original isn't blown out and just underexposed, there are techniques for saving the shot. Otherwise the overexposed background detracts from the engaging portrait of the boy.
