Photographers Note
Outskirts of the city. There are so many people who still loyal to the traditions and miss their daily life in the past. Because of the worsen economical conditions, most of them left their lands and migrated mostly to the metropolitan areas for some job opportunities.
Some of them, who were scared of the metropolitan jungle, preferred to settle in the small cities close to their rural areas, preferably to the outskirts.
This old man is one of them. I was walking up and down to take the photos of the old, traditional, houses of Mugla. I saw this man. He tied one of the goats to the pole but not the others and went back. I thought I missed the chance of taking an interesting scene. But a couple of seconds later he came back and this is the result.
His looks in his eyes, while he's loking at the goats, were so bright and full with affection. I was totally able to see his facial expression full with happiness.
PP: Just converted to B&W and cropped. In fact, the original also looks like a B&W as seen in WS version.

Nice everyday life picture. I like composition, perfect exposure and B&W seems to be very appropriate here.

A lovely image Bulent and a fantastic note too. A timeless picture put into context. The black and white works excellently for your composition.

I love these pictures Bulent.
Its really like the time has stood still
I find the composition nice and funny, it looks like the goats are a part of the village habitants. And that the old man is strolling between them
The B&W color choice is a good one here

Merhaba Bulent,
what a nice composed picture you posted. It's a small world where this man lives in, after your note he's content with his life! The white wall with wooden element is perfect as background. Well done to use b&w.

Hi Bulent,
Even in B&W we can feel how sunny the place is, we also see that cohabitation of men and goats is a normal thing in this place, they all seem to live in harmony here, nice composition.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

selamlar hocam,
