Photographer’s Note
Asperagus fields at Flörsheim, the big 'small' town I live, in the triangle between Wiesbaden, Frankfurt and Mainz.
Farmers start to prepare the asparagus fields; earth will be piled up and in order to be the first one the market, it will be covered with black plastic to heat up the ground in order to accelerate the growing.
Basically, the pastic foil serves as regulator for growing. One side is black the other is white in order to speed up or to slow down growing, depending on the needs of the market...
There's some additional info in the workshop !

Prespective and patterns have created a good compostion. Couldn't make it out as a thunbnail in the gallery but once seen larger is apparent and good shot. The birds add to the image without it it would be empty.

Hi dear Knut!
I'm back yesterday after a short trip(10 days!!!),glad to see you with this great graphical shot.
what a nice moment you captured, really the birds made the shot nicely, and I like it very much.
the perspective is great, very nice and symmetrically managed in this fine composition.
also a very good note you wrote.
playing with light and those shadows are another strong point for the shot, very well controlled and a nice contrast you reached, too.
I enjoy it,Knut!
Thanks
Yours

Hi Knut, this is a very nice graphism, the way the growth is regulated here, gave you a very interesting scene with nice and strong diaganals. The two birds add a nice accent, they're lookin' a bit lost, wondering were all the access to these veggies is. Their central placement in the frame accentuates this. Nice catch, good job.
Regards from Rotterdam, Bert.

Hello Knut,
At first I thought I was dealing with some kind of roof, and I spotted the two birds: Now I can judge better. Needless to say this is a great shot with an elegant graphism Knut,

Very nice and graphic photo with great lines. I find those two birds very cute and a good add to the photo. Nice colours and contrast, and nice shiny reflection that give the grey/purple element a fine metallic look.

Hi Knut,
One of the most intersting and lovely composition I've ever seen in TE. The lines and the shadows look amazing. But, moreover, the birds and their harmonic postures are fantastic. It seems they found no seeds around and were a little disappointed.
Very good job and thanks for sharing...

Tonight I saw some simple pictures and here's another one, simple shots are often so nice to look at and with these birds as fine details, a nice shot !
