Hi Giuseppe... nice typicall combo! however the sky is great and the contrast between the buildings is very good also. The quality is very good, i believe i can see some some stars. Regards, Mário
the sky looks very good on that shot-both the colors and the way the dark clouds seem to run away from you. the city lights are a bit too bright, it makes them look blurry. did you use a tripod ?

I don't think this is as good a shot as the firework photo. The sky has interesting cloud formations and has a nice fade from the light on the horizon to darkness at the edges. However, the foreground doesn't have a real point for the eye to focus on and some of the lights are burned through.
