[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken at sunset, though a warming filter has been added to enhance the colours in the image. During the summer on hot days, these seats are taken with people enjoying the weather and engaging in stimulating discussion, or perhaps just sat watching the rest of the world go by.

On the horizon it is possible to see (from left to right) the Musee D'Orsee, the Eiffel Tower, and Place De La Concorde.

great shot. i like all the composition. the filter as done a great job. Good color, it seems another dimention.

Superb composition and the whole idea for this 'weird'photo is so innovative. You helped it a lot with the colour enhancements - it looks scarily unreal, just like a drug-inspired vision. Very creative, thanks for sharing. Tom.

Bonsoir David... I LOVE IT! this is a great compo... quite diferent but really amazing. the filter and the punch effect look really good. Well Done. I've been in Paris this month and it is a extraordinary city. Amicalement Mário.

Tout ton catalogue est plein de bon style, des idees, tres caracteristique. Merci.

Wow, the colours, the fisheye, so special! Wow! So you made this one with a 15 mm lense and a digital camera? mmm, the expensive kind, right? So the 15 mm really is 15 mm instead of 23? Jealous...

Hi David,
that's a great one ,maybe my favorite from your album.
i like the idea that you found the seat like that ,did you ?
amazing composition, great use of you Fisk eye.

Tom

I like this setting, David. Nice colours because of the warming filter and a pleasant fisheyed view. Well done. TFS, CU, Erik

David, this is an acid trip: you've turned a place of peace and contemplation wild. the colours are unreal but work so well, and the perspective is excellent. I would have preferred a few more people in it, and cropping the left site to take away the distracting puddle. Otherwise, this is amazing!

What type of lens did you use? I am in LOVE with this photo!

L'art n'est pas une copie mais une interprétation de la réalité. C'est bien réalisé et très plaisant à regarder.

Wowwow.. looks like I would fall backwards if ever I dare sit on these. Bold colors, but I like the green you get with your filter.

...quite a difference with my own interpretation of the same chairs.

That's fun - the fish-eye on those chairs, together with the filter. The composition's very good. I wonder if you can imagine the composition beforehand, or whether you need to walk around looking through a fish-eye to find something like this?

Wow, David, this is soo cool, the fish eye gives me an impression that I had few too many and really don't want to see on these wonky looking chairs. Fantastic composition with great colours, fish eye works really well in this case.

Bonsoir.
Fred

(je repasse demain, je suis à sec)

David, this is a fabulous piece of photography. Between the wild colors and the fisheye distortions it produces the look of something from Dali...
Best, Matt

A modernistic colorful art painting reflecting the spirit of our time: sensational dramatique emptiness evoked by pano distortion and almost innatural light coloring reflected in the water... a last nostalgique colorful art view before end of time.....?

Ok David am I ever glad you stopped by today. My first response upon opening this photo is a very impressive photo. I love your work and your gallery. Now to honest my very first response on this photo was that I want your camera..LOL. Seems that 15mm fisheye is so very effective in creating such beauty from common places. You are not standing any higher than normal height because these chairs gives me the impression you are standing on a tall stepladder. Very nice...Very nice indeed. Cheers Paul.

Hi David
Again a very special effect here. Great use of colour and fisheye. Wonderful atmosphere.

I really like this fisheye photo. But it's not only the lens that made this shot great. It's also good composition and colur that are really stunning.
Great work
Darko

Wow! That's amazing picture. There aren't many situations when fish eye lens could be used. You've done it perfectly. Fantastic balanced composition - chairs on the left and some of the pool on the right. One of my favorits.

Regards,
Grzegorz
