Hi Pinar, this is a fascinating shot. I've always wanted to visit Istanbul and am very interested in the history of the place and the area.
When I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was a mosque. I took a shot like this in the mesquita in Cordoba, Spain (not on TE).
As for the image, the light and particularly the reflection on the floor are excellent. I like the eerie yellow glow - it gives a feeling of antiquity somehow.
On the downside, some of the columns seem a little out of focus (unless it's my screen!). I see you used f/2.8, it might have been better to take an even longer exposure with a larger aperture (F8 or F11). This would have given an increased depth of focus and, being on a tripod, still been free of shake. Of course, you might have got people walking into shot with a longer exposure.

Yerebatan Saray was defenetly the most impresive sight in Istanbul (well... I can't bet on what I just said, since Istanbul is really one magical place), and I never thought that I'll see a photo that will do justice to the place. Your photograph just prooved me wrong :)

You have a very nice shot there. That water off the ground really makes this shot work. Nice.

Merhaba 'binar'; I agree with 'steveegg' about the aperture and focus and additionally, a bit darker would give more atmosphere to this unique place - but anyway - what counts is the view and staging!
One of my cameras does not allow me too any interference, I see the problem you mentioned to 'steveegg'; you know what you want... but...
