Photographer’s Note
This was taken on a trip to St. Petersburg. From the window of the ship the sunset was stunning. I really liked the superposition of the cold steel shipyard over the beautifull warm sky, rainbow and sunset. This gave, I think, a real dichotomous rendering of warm beauty.
Especially interesting to me were the striations in the sky which you can see in the rainbow arcs.
