[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I shot this at the muttukadu lake...Tsunami had done considerable damage to this backwater lake... gone were the fishermen and their catarmarans...The original jetty had been ripped apart and there was a temporary one in place...The sandbar seperating the lake and the sea has opened up and now the lake directly flows into the sea...There was a small community of 15 people living in the sandbar who seem to have disappeared with it...In whole it was whole different scene with not much of it visible to the ordinary eye...The sunset was still beautiful as I shot it however i've changed the picture to monochrome and played with the hues to convey the solitude of the place... comments and critiques please....
