Photographer’s Note
The World Trade Center used to tower high above New York and was the focal point of the Lower Manhattan skyline. Although criticized initially for its design, New Yorkers slowly grew to love the massive structures. I, personally, think it was a beautiful structure and I particularly liked looking straight up all 1400feet of it from street level.
This shot was taken about a year before the 9/11 attacks, and I like it as both a memorial to the event and as an impressive photograph.

I agree with you. I liked the twin towers so much. I took my last pics of it the day before the attack. Nice shot.

Hi there,
Cool shot! I remember looking up there myself...quite vertiginous! The effect comes through greatly in your photo! Well done!

Good point of view and angle. when taking picture of high building, people tend to use a vertical frame, but your way is quite original. Well done.

I think that lacks something that can give us the idea of the highness and of majesty of the bulding even if the pov is good. I propose a color version and anotther pov like in the workshop. Ciao Geoffrey

Very unique use of the panorama feature. I really like it. It shows very clearly one of the reasons I liked this building. Well I should say multiple reasons. But one is scrolling across the screen and seeing how the effect of all the vertical lines change. That's great in the large format. Also the size and sheer height of this vertical wall. It surely was an impressive complex. And black and white really captures its stark modern look very well. Excellent job seeing, photographing and processsing and presenting.

Nice shot, original angle and I like the blank white sky in the background.

Hi Geoffrey,
Great POV. When I look up this sort of hights it tends to make me dissy. Almost the same feeling as when you're looking downward. This photo shows very well how massif it was.

Paul

Excellent shot! Although it is in B&W there seems to be a yellow tint to it. Good camera as you did not get distortion on this photo and the lines satyed true. Well done.
