Photographer’s Note

This is a mediaeval,handpainted peace of a window from the Burg Vischering.
Burg Vischering is on of the best conserved mediaeval defence citadels in Germany,-see my previous posting.

With this one I´m taking a small break over the Easter-days,I will be back in the next week,greetings to all friends from TE!

Hi Hermann, This is a beautiful glass window. It is clear and well contrasted. At the same time, through the glass, the rainy day in the wood can be seen with some imagination. Well composed photo.

A nice detail with the painted ornament inside the window, Hermann. Good work on the DOF here, retaining good sharpness in the painted glass and having the outside park setting appear a bit softer. Ich wünsch' Dir schöne Osterfeiertage!

Beautiful leaded window.The vague background gives reality on this picture. It's not only a window, but it stands in its surrounding.

I like these shields remembering 3 handpainted in lead hanging in maternal home in the living-room.
This is a nice transparant one and very nice presented with the blurred trees-sky background.

Hi Hermann, very nice how you captured this 'glas in lood' artwork. I like the contrast between the heavi square lines formed by the lead and the delicate colours of the ancient heraldic sign. Goog job.
