Photographer’s Note
Three days of sailing and diving in and around the Whitsundays (Queensland, Australia).
One of our off-the-boat trips, was when we went to see Whitehaven Beach. Crispy sand, as white (and soft) as washingpowder and water in the most unreal green- and blue colours.
Before we actually arrived on the beach itself, we walked through a forresty area, and ended up at this place.
PS: I have to say it wasn't the most sunny day in the world... that's why you might think the colours don't look too bright. But believe me, in real, they are.

Soft and pretty colors. Looks like abstract art! Never seen something like this. Thanks for sharing.

The soft flowing patterns in the foreground are interesting and beautiful, maybe it could be interesting to concentrate more on them by cropping the sky and most of the background coastline, I tried a workshop to test my little idea, see what you think. Nice photo anyway.

Nice shot! I love the composition, the bands of colour against the pale shades of sand. I particularly like the patterns on the sand in the foreground. However I feel that the image should have a lot more "punch" to it, if you play around with Curves and Saturation I think you might be able to get things how you actually saw them :) I've posted a Workshop for you, let me know what you think! Nicely captured :-)

Very warm shot, Sarah.
I'm still jealous of you making such a nice trip. TFS all the nice pics you made.
