Photographer’s Note

Moulay Idris is a small town near Meknes. It is considered a holy city and is a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. The town is built on the hills and it's narrow twisting lanes are full of colorful walls and doors. I was lucky to catch this woman in blue passing at just the right time for this photo.

what a nice composition Emily, you have got the eye for a good picture. The repetition of the blue bucket and the blue woman coming down the alley is reall nice.

I would prefere more sharp on the women and less in front maybe.

Great composition. Too bad she isn't closer and more in focus! Also (this is really picky) if you could have either more or less of that top step to the left. As it is, it's just a white triangle that distracts the eye. But enough criticism. Good shot.

This repetition of the blue is so clever. Really exceptional composition - a favourite.
