Photographer's Note

St Pauls Cathedral in Macau was built by the Portuguese in the early 17th century when Macau was a colony, but was destroyed by a typhoon in the 19th century, when the wind knocked over the candles & set fire to the curtains & wooden superstructure. Only the stone facade remains today. It was the largest church in Asia up until then.
