Very strong composition by the sharpness and the colors.
This is a very beautiful place and this mill is great.
I like it.

ps Just a word on the crop at the foreground, I suggest either to have more by if possible a flat view from the grass or less whith nothing because I find the quantity of edge so small could be disturbing. ( Anyway I like it for the place and all other elements)

hi hermann, an excellence in 99% i love this series with the mills (haven't i said that already?)
just a bit disturbing is the cut-off of the canal in the bottom of the pic
but the sharpness and precission is perfect here

Hallo Hermann,
Well done, this Dutch classic. Many years ago I made a series of Kinderdijk, but that was pre-digital and scanned pictures are difficult. So I do it now with yours.

Good morning Hermann. A pleasant shot of the off-centered windmill, with another "junior mill" seen at the background left (nice play with perspective there). The reflections and slight diagonal offered by the stretch of water are nice, and the subdued light works fine to render a very balanced illumination of the scenery.

Hoi Hermann,
Groet,

In fact the light on this one is great. That’s why I like grey and cloudy days. The light gets very soft. Also like the POV and the fact the mill is almost centered doesn’t harm this photo because it has such a weight in the composition our attention focus completely on it.

Gr. Jaap

Excellent Nederland, you capture our country very well, Hermann, all the elements are in this picture, the mill, the trees in the right-corner, water, barns, little bridge and even the sky, it's "een plaatje" !

Herr Hermann,

Erg goed werk.
Groeten uit Rotterdam,

Very good photo Hermann. The windmill is well placed in the photo and I think that the grey sky makes the subject come out more. Good use of proportions and I like the composition with the river and the small other mill.
Nice one.

Truly a wonderful catch - I would like to post some windmill shots from here - but our mills placed on spot which less worthy for a post - thanks Hermann for this fine job.

Mooie foto, Hermann!
Knap werk!
Groeten,
Stef
